our grandmom’s peonies are thriving here in the south! i’m thinking she’d be delighted.
oh, my precious pink angel! her fancy, cheersing, lip gloss loving heart is everything wonderful.
forever our twirling, sunsetty inspo, that sister of mine. also, rocco is totally wearing black jammy leggings that he slept in and kept right on wearing! haha. unless it’s horribly inappropriate for a situation, i try not to cramp their individual styles. 🙂
oooh, motherhood is full of surprises, isn’t it?
…but that squishy little bunny, he can do no wrong.
sis and her poses complete me! and gosh, these two have such an amazing bond. i love having them back together all the time. [and of course they fight, that’s what siblings do!]
our youngest of the sibling marrieds have been wed a whole year! and! P finished school with flying colors. we’re like… super proud.
animal obsessed doesn’t even cover it.
…and here we are. nailed it!

here in these slower days of life, we’ve been…
waiting for peonies to bloom… playing dress up… crafting… doing school at home! [it’s been amazing, and her teachers have made it SO easy.] working from home for steven… rocco and steven rode bikes from our house to the farm one afternoon, and at another point, steven took all three kids on a walk from our house to the farm! letting my babies sleep when they need to… organizing!! [only my favorite thing that i never get a chance to successfully work at]… farm strolling and horse petting. finishing my not-scary-anymore closet overhaul! and working in some other house projects. maybe a smidge of self-care? face mask, under eye patches, fresh toenail polish, check, check, check! back porch wine sipping [the kids like to announce wine o’clock & sip OJ from our plastic wine glasses!] SNUGGLING! need i mention that stella is living her best life not getting shoved back in her crate while we leave for school?! baking! i haven’t baked much in years, honestly. we’ve got a new go-to cookie recipe!! cheersing and celebrating. PRAYING! learning. talking. growing.
oh, sure, confusion abounds, and our world has a long way to go… but really, what is new? the blessings that we have right here are not lost on me at all [especially considering the fact that this has been a devastating time for so many in our country].
these are golden hours together, for sure, and i. am. so. grateful.

[sidenote! i’m doing my best to research more small shops and made in the USA products… buuut, i mean… the sleeves on this waffley top were screaming pandemic chic 2020, and i had to have it! i haven’t been able to figure out where FP clothes are manufactured, but they are forever the wardrobe items of my heart. and always running a decent sale!!]
