this is one of my very favorite views in the whole wide world:
spending half your youth in the barn is really the best way to grow up ever. and before i had a fabulous human boy in my life i had my sweet little casey! we’ve been together since we were 10. [now we’re both almost 23? ew, scary.]
i don’t get to spend nearly enough time with him these days, but i know he’s always there in his happy pasture waiting for me! he has the coziest neck, perfect for cuddles, and a biggg, fuzzy, warm shoulder to cry on any time i might need it [i’ve used it plenty in the past 13 years]. he’s a really good listener & has a whole lot of patience. i love him x’s a million and i can’t think of any better therapy than riding on a pretty day. i’m such a lucky girl.

Wow, those pics are gorgeous! The hubs grew up on a farm in MN. He had a horse named Tony the Pony that he competed with. That always cracks me up!
