late last night, i was doing a little routine re-organizing when i peeked into my envelope of holga pics i’d gotten developed last week. for whatever reason, i pulled out the little roll of film that was all smooshed in there and examined it.. and noticed that there are two whole exposures that the photo developing lady had completely neglected to print.. and they’re both of dear darling sweet husband!
now, what is the meaning of this? is this lady trying to tell me something? no, probably not. i overheard her saying she really wanted to get a hotdog before the hotdog place closed. i mean, i’m very sorry, bad photo lady, but this is your job!
[the first part of the story is that bad photo lady had said my photos would be ready at 2:30pm the following wednesday. when i arrived to pick them up at 3:30pm, giving her a bonus hour, bad photo lady had done nothing! she just held up my film and asked if i still wanted them done. yes, crazy bad photo lady, that’s why i dropped them off here! she could’ve gotten her hotdog if she had just done her job.]
ohh, anyway. i scanned in the first neglected holg negative of cute stevo and clicked the little “invert” option in photoshop. voila. stevo holg. [the 2nd one wouldn’t show up so we’ll just forget about that one.]
i love it. how cute is he in his christmas pj pants? so cute. i love him. and also, hidden holg finding was kinda fun. so, moral of the story: love conquers bad photo lady. happy ending.
