my sweet horsey love boy, casey, turns 24 years old today!
twenty. four! i can’t even believe it.
i gush when i talk about casey. i do. i love him so much.
we first got him as a chubby 10 year old who hadn’t been ridden in a whole year.
i was 10 years old then, too, and we learned oh so much together.
he is wonderful inside and out and i don’t know what i would ever do without him.
[he’s even taught steven how to ride! he is very patient.]
so yes. in honor of his birthday i’ve made a shrine of our love…

How wonderful. I haven't ridden a horse since my Roger passed on to horsey heaven. 🙁 But enough sad talk! That's so great that Casey is 24. Wow! And still looking spry and beautiful as ever. Love his coloring too.

anonymous, wow thanks! i'm not that impressive in the fitness department. i just try to live an active lifestyle, which is a lot easier for me when i'm not hibernating through the winter.
