my mom has a favorite author. a very very favorite author named harlan coben, who just happened to be here in florida yesterday! so, april & i, being the nice little girls we are, went to his book signing and got his brand new book signed for my mommydearest. it was fun!

i knew it would be fun because i went with my mom to his book signing in nashville a few years ago. such a really friendly and clever man, this mr. coben. i haven’t read his books yet, as i’ve been caught in a very serious 3 year relationship with diana gabaldon’s outlander books, but i think i’m going to. i’m pretty sure his books are the twisty mystery kind, which might be a nice change for me.
also, we found a book called “eebee’s adventures” that is apparently about april’s life. we know this because i’ve called her eebee since middle school and there is no such thing as another eebee with other adventures. also the character on the cover looks just like her. not the human child, the other one.
[just kidding, april is the prettiest.]
i think the man standing in the book signing line behind us was either really entertained or just hated us. we were having eebee’s adventures all over the place. at the end, as he walked out the door, he just looked at us and shook his head and chuckled.
so after all our book time we scurried over to the eat some mexican food. and we made it for happy hour! i wore my 3d glasses from our night of biebering and i thought maybe they looked like real glasses but then april pointed out that they said “3d” in big letters on the side. oh well.

Fun, I Love meeting authors, I always feel like they're some of the nicest "celebs" to meet, they actually treat you very kindly. Plus, by nature they're intelligent so you gain something from meeting with them. You're too cute, love the last shot of you with the drink!
