life of charmings

love, family, happiness

April 5, 2011 in farmhome· horses

a little afternoon nap. and then some lunch maybe.

while basking by the pool last weekend at farmhome, the fam & i glanced over to spot
our fav new filly happily passed out in the sunshine on her first full day in the pasture.
i think it’s just the sweetest thing ever that all kinds of all babies seem to have
that complete sense of security just knowing that they’re being taken care of.
she was napping just like a little puppy, twitching her skinny little legs around
and having cozy dreams, curled up by her mommy’s feet. soo-o-o precious.
then she woke up all grogg-faced and decided it was time for some lunch…

i mean.. that is the life! so sweet and innocent.
i just want to squish her tiny horsey baby face,
i don’t even know what to do with myself when i look at all her not even 1 week old cuteness.

[also, no, baby filly doesn’t belong to our fam. she’s on the farmhome next to farmhome and we’re just a little obsessed.]

I know I've already commented on how cute this baby is, but I just can't get over it! I think I'm obsessed and I've only seen pictures. If I were there, I think I would just sit outside and watch this sweet little thing all day. 🙂 Also, I would like to have her life…an afternoon nap and some lunch sounds perfect to me!

If I had a baby filly, I'd be with her every.single.stinkin.moment. too! Such a darling baby I wish I lived closer to TN so I could stop by and give her a kiss. 🙂
