it rained and stormed aaaall night long last night and i didn’t sleep one single wink.
the 1 year floodiversary is just 4 days away now. can you believe that? i can’t!
so it’s giving me a little bit of a nervous tummy to have rain and storms all over us.
and the second stevo woke up this morning i begged him not to go to work.
i really tried. but he had to. i know. it’s his job. totally understand.
so i’m hiding out at home with my fluffies. they’re such good cuddlers.
i also need to mention that i have the best friends ever on the whole planet
that call and send sweet messages to check on me to make sure i’m not splashing in another flood
or just plum losing my mind. thanks, friendies. that really, really means a lot.
can’t wait to see the sun come out again! but hideouts and cuddles will do for now.
as long as we make it through this spring flood-free i’m happy.
[ps. we have birdies living in our attic… and as irritating as it is,
i kinda like to picture them all cozy up there while it rains.]
[pps. they’ve been showing our neighborhood area on the news in the context of
emergency prep and sandbags. whew. stay calm.]
