flower babies

every time i get my spring flowers planted, i kind of become a little bit obsessed with them. i do. they are my flower babies and i am their flower mom. one of the first things i like to do when i wake up [only after singing good morning songs to the fluffs, of course] is water the flower babies and evaluate how much they’ve grown in their special growing food potting soil. and just like i take a jillion pictures of my fluff babies, i tend to do this with my flower babies, too. i mean, aren’t flowers just the happiest? i think so.

[i especially like how in the first shot there’s a teensy little bug enjoying a flower petal!]

    i fully understand this.

i sing to my plants and talk to them… what did I do with my morning hours before I planted these things? hard to remember.

If were staying longer at this house the back flowerbeds would be full.

I am a terrible flower mother seeing as most of my flower babies tend to die within a few weeks… eek! I think I need to take gardening lessons from you πŸ™‚
