one of the best things about attending weddings, i’ve realized, is that it’s really a fancy date night of wine and dinner and dancing in the most elegant atmospheres with lots of fun people and wedding cake. and the other best part, of course, is that we love our friends a whole lot and we especially love when they love each other enough to get married and have every night slumber parties! because that’s what marriage is, you know.
this past weekend we celebrated allie & phil’s beautiful day [allie is my sweet sorority little sis and phil is steven’s childhood bestie. hehe. bestie in reference to boys. so silly sounding. i giggle.] steveyboodles was a groomsman and boy did he look handsome. and i successfully managed to squeeze into my rehearsal dinner dress from our own wedding weekend 3 years ago! i hadn’t worn it since then and i’m so glad i finally did. it really was a perfect evening… and allie and phil were just the loveliest of newlyweds! great success…
and see, i even wore my sparkle princess shoes again. i loooove my sparkle princess shoes, which i suppose is why i turn into a foot photographer when i have them on. i also attempted this little hair twisty bun, but apparently have about 300 x’s more hair than the girl in that post so it kind of became something much larger with many, many bobby pins in it.
and so, as expected, the lovely night ended with the tossing of rose petals…
and some serious bobby pin removal. [final count: 31!]
