obsessed: favs this summer

1. the sofia & amelie bloomer shorts – i own two pairs of these, one in cream and one in rose [which i don’t think they have either of right now… oh, actually, you can get the cream here] and i’d wear them day and night if that was appropriate. they are too cute and they kind of make me feel like elizabeth swann. and the amelies are on sale right now! i honestly don’t know the difference between the sofia and the amelie. i think i have the sofias but they look the exact same to me. i really just want everything from undrest.

2. tignanello cognac leather satchel – i found this little babe at tj maxx and we were immediately a match made in heaven. she’s exactly what i’ve been looking for for pretty much a thousand centuries. i love her and i will never let her go. and since she’d made it all the way to tj by the time we found each other, she was only $70. turns out, she has an aldo doppleganger [it’s a “vegetarian” version] for only $45, which i’m oddly tempted to adopt, as well.

3. vita coco coconut water – yum yummm! i’ll admit that this is maybe a dot of an acquired taste but it didn’t take long. i took like, two sips and now i can’t stop drinking my coconut water. it has lots of potassium. gotta love potassium. and it tastes even better with a little pink straw in it!

4. skinnygirl margarita – bethenny frankel is a genius with this concoction. agave nectar, agave tequila, 100 calories a serving. it pretty much makes you skinny. and i love that it’s not too super sweet.

5. essie guilty pleasures – it’s not easy for me to pick a favorite essie color, but i think this is my fav of the summer! i just looked down at my toes to confirm how much i love it and yes, i love it a lot. it’s beautiful and happy and bright but not too bright.

6. revlon wink for pink lipstick – pink, but more of a pretty pink than something super bright and poppy. just a little pop. i like it. sometimes with some gloss over it.

7. burt’s bees tinted lip balm in pink blossom – this is natural and pretty smelling and just adds a smidge of color! i was excited when i found this because i’m always looking for natural lip stuff and i never find one that i like. i just really have a thing for lip stuff.

8. havaianas flippyfloppies – my first pair of these i bought in malibu two years ago and they’re probably the most comfortable flipflops ever. i’ve since ordered the pretty slim gold ones, which i now wear constantly, and my mom has the pretty peacock ones. i envy her peacock havaianas big time.

9. hempz age defying lotion – this lotion just makes me happy. i’d say it’s the best moisturizer i’ve ever had and the smell alone makes me float away in the happiness clouds! i keep a baby bottle in my purse and a big mama bottle under my sink and look for excuses to put it on. and hopefully i’m defying age.

*if i could pack all these items up in the cognac satchel purse and ship it out to every girl on earth, i so would! except for the mean ones. but maybe them, too, because they probably just need some extra love. and nothing says love like material items. nope, totally just kidding! gifts aren’t even my love language. but, i mean, i’m not ruling them out…*
