the awesome things we did [why do weekends have to end?]

2. journeying to steven’s company’s family lake day party
[i’ll admit i started out a little “meh” about this… but nooot for long!]

which included…

two words: moon bounce!
one question: is this appropriate?
answer: do not answer this.

if you ask me, moon bouncing was probably the highlight of the weekend!
i hadn’t done this since… well, freshman year of college [at an awesome party!] and
yes, it was there for the children… but i assure you, we did not run anyone
off to have the bouncy fun for ourselves… and also, i never really claimed
to be an adult, anyway. i just happen to be a 24-year-old married girl.
[and in hindsight, i’m not completely sure that steven should have bounced quite so moonifully,
given that he’s had a hurt ankle for the past month. woops. we didn’t even think about that!
i mean, it’s no wonder he said it was throbbing on the drive home! but, oh well.
life’s too short not to jump on a moon bounce because your ankle is hurt, i spose.]

3. snuggle time. snuggle time is just mandatory.
[and best when fluffs are involved.]

if there were snuggle competitions, our house would win. hands/paws down.
