every year, on the very last day in july,
we celebrate the birthday of a very special man!
my very own daddy dearest…
and we tend to do such celebrating with a theme.
we’ve found that it’s almost impossible for my family
to celebrate anyone’s birthday without a proper theme of some sort.
[according to my mother, the chief theme-er, this was supposed to be the year of theme-less
birthdays but it just doesn’t happen. she is a theme-ing pro and she can’t stop.]

and the best! my grandmom [daddy’s mommy] has been in town to play,
little bro made it back from a week in auburn, setting up to head back college,
and even our “adopted” brother, weston, came back to ole farmhome for the festivities.
oh, and baby sis helped me dye the ends of my hair pink, which i’m loving.
so, i really love my family. these peeps are just amazing.
