so, i figured national chocolate chip day was like, the best ever
excuse to just go ahead and bake up some chocolate chip cookies.
i usually find pa-lenty of reasons to suppress my cookie baking desires,
[oh, how i wish i liked cooking as much as i like baking. i don’t.]
but on this day… mmm, baby! no holding back. i got out my joy of cooking
cookbook, cookies all the way. because why not, you know? i mean,
i’ll just have to do some extra yoga. and i probably won’t, but whatev.
[of course, dedicated husband worked out at the gym & then drank a protein shake as i cookied out. he’s cute.]

Cookies, kitties and wine?! This is pretty much my ideal post! And isn't the Joy of Cooking amazing? It's my bible of baking.
