morning fluffies + eleven questions

juuust kidding. i brought it to myself. bet i had you fooled!

1. What is your profession? why, funny you should ask! i have a little bee for beauty art shop! wink 😉 i also give the occasional healthy spray tan. you never know, i just have so many tricks.

2. How would you describe your style? oooh, i have so many phases. but i like my style best in the summertime. i think it’s the most “me” season of clothing… flowy and carefree. i mean, not that i’m flowy. but i super love gold and bronzey tones… and sunkissed cheeks and hair. yum. hurry up, summer!

3. What one make-up product can you not live without? let’s make that two… and i’ll say concealer and faux tan. adding a third: maybelline great lash with a curved brush. and also, plain old vaseline! so… four. four products. whatever.

4. If you could be besties with one celebrity, who would it be? umm… hmm… i think mila kunis would make a great bestie, but i say that mostly because i just want to stare at her. but also because she’s funny. i’d also love a girl date with giuliana so we could talk about our italianness. she’d be like “i am way more italian than you” and i’d be like “you’re right. ughhh. let’s eat some pasta.” then one day i’d probably call up zooey, too, and try to let her dry wit just rub off on me a little.

5. What is your dream vacation? well speaking of italianness… steven & i have just planned a romantic italian getaway! woopie! that is my dream right now. but my dream vacation usually includes a very hot beach and people with accents. our jamaican honeymoon was pretty much that dream. and bonus, there were peacocks!

6. What magazines do you subscribe to? oh, boo. none. i buy them from time to time at the grocery based on whatever mood i’m in, you know? i can’t commit to just one, i don’t think. also, i love free ones that just show up in my mailbox.

7. If you could have a special talent {that you don’t currently have}, what would it be? i’ve always wanted to play the piano. someday i will, hopefully, so we can just call it my future special talent.

8. What is your favorite breakfast food? plain greek yogurt with granola, oatmeal, cereal, or a balance bar/power bar.

9. If you could do anything, what is your dream job? i. love. painting. and i’m beyond thrilled that i’ve been able to spend more of my time doing it! but also, i would definitely accept a paying job looking tan beside/in a pool [without having to wear a onesie and dive in after drowners, obviously.]

10. What is your guilty pleasure? chocolate chip cookies. i ate way too many of them last week so i’m grounded from them until i’m 40. but since i grounded myself, i can change that rule next time i want a cookie, if i need to.

11. What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received, and who gave it to you? “why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?” my mom always said that as i was growing up. it means “don’t be a slut” and it actually really made a lot of sense to me!
