happy easter weekend!
it’s a weekend to be so thankful [john 3:16],
to get out your white, linen, & seersucker,
to sing songs from jesus christ superstar,
[um, well, that’s what my family does, anyway]
and to look at photos of baby duckies…
…i mean, is there anything cheerier than baby duckies?!
[a little spring happiness from our own baby ducky days…]
*my senior year of high school, i came home from my spring break to find that my parents had adopted two little baby duckies for the farm. by the following spring, those duckies had grown into a lovely married couple named buddy & kitty, and decided to have some babies of their own! and so, one morning, we woke up to find kitty with 14 of the cutest, fuzziest little tiniest spring peepers in her sweet little nest. i’m pretty sure those babies will remain some of the cutest things ever to enter my life. when i think of the naps they took with their little heads on each other, and how they learned how to swim in their own little kiddie pool, i don’t even know what to do with myself! and i can’t ever look at a photo of them without smiling. i miss the baby ducky days!
Oh my goodness, how precious are these ducklings! Just adorable, and what a sweet way to welcome in Spring 🙂
