oh, it’s thursday, you say…

[that is the face of my fluffy little soul mate.]

-i decided once and for all that my love fling with nutella finally had to come to an end. i’d never had a jar of nutella in my life before and it was so beautiful while it lasted. but it’s over now. and i really mean that. although, that doesn’t mean i won’t eat a little out of your jar.

-all i’ve want to do this week is tear this little housey of ours to shreds and pretty much throw away everything. random stuff in drawers? seeya! those boxes of whatever in the back of the closet? what’s in there! burn it all! cups? why do we have so many cups? vital, important documents? i mean, are they really that vital? the pretty word for it would certainly be *nesting* but it’s maybe the cracked out version. and when i think of all the new baby things we’re going to be squeezing into our space soon… oh man… my chest tightens a little.

-steven and i realized that our anniversary is in just two weeks! on june 7th, 2012, we will have been married for four years. the most wonderful thing ever. [like, we’re really totally married people. like those married people. the settled kind, where it feels completely normal and we could probably even give you advice.] it’s so quickly sneaking up on us, although i think we’ve got gifts covered this year… how about you give me a trip to italy and i’ll give you a baby! do i get wife points for being cool with that?

-baby. i love her. she is the cutest already. and every time she gets crazy and makes my belly move around i picture a cartoon of a baby dinosaur hatching out of an egg. like this, only the dinosaur is supposed to be green. but she is not. a baby dinosaur. so don’t call her that. she is a beautiful flower. but the baby dinosaur visual makes me laugh every time.

-this morning i found a cup of greek yogurt sitting all by its lonesome in the pantry. my poor husband. he’s got pregnancy brain, too.

-i think the UPS man might think we’re shopaholics. and guess who’s to blame? amazon prime.

-speaking of, i have got to stop signing up for these shopping emails. whew. it’s like i want to be in the secret club every single time… but then every morning my inbox turns into a mall!

-is it normal to feel sadness for your purse when you look at her and realize you’ll have to carry a diaper bag soon instead? because i do that. although, as far as stylish diapeybags go, i’ve got my eye on this leather babe. mostly because it’s actually leather.

-and ps. i’ve decided for sure that i’m gonna get a few things back in action with my little art shop before baby time. i had a couple inquiries kind of a long time ago, but still haven’t gotten to it… but i finally am really going to! soon!

-three day weekend, come here now. i can’t wait to see you.
