*minnie’s been pretty proud of her newfound stair climbing abilities. she’s always been too scared of slipping on my parents’ wooden staircase, but at 4 years old she finally did it! over and over and over again. go minnie! we also got to catch up with some friends that are expecting a little babe, too, but they’re a while behind us and i felt super preg in comparison. and, of course, we celebrated our dads on fathers day. thanks, dads!

How funny you posted about Minnie and the stairs!!! Aspen is six, and cannot go up an down stairs that are slick either! We are in the process of purchasing our first home here in AZ< and it's a two story (which isn't to common since it's so hot here most want a one story) but our house has stairs that are carpeted, so I am really really hoping she'll learn how to go up and down on her own with out barking for Mom to carry her chunky butt up and down them! LOL
