life of charmings

love, family, happiness

July 17, 2012 in life these days· minnie· sophie· the fluffs

these two fluffs…

[…and a whole lot of fluffing lately…]

i came across an article the other day that talked about a recent study showing that children tend to have better health if they’ve had close contact with a dog or a cat in the first twelve months of their lives. this made me so happy! i have always believed that animals are, in so many different ways, such a healthy and wonderful part of life, especially while growing up. they teach responsibility, non-verbal communication, unconditional love, and most of all i think they make your soul happy. and i tend to feel that when your soul is happy, your body follows. so, i’m really glad that science has decided to go on and start proving more ways that fluffies are good for you, since we’ve got these two fabulous furballs, and they’re just waiting for a baby of their own to plant some smooches on… in fact, minnie and i had a little chat in the car just the other day about how much our newest little family member is going to love growing up with a pup and a kitty for bffs. and she won’t be growing up with just any fluffies. she’ll be growing up with a minnie. and a sophie. and that will be interesting. oh, but these fluffs, they complete me. and i think baby girl is going to feel the same way. i mean, she doesn’t really have a choice, now does she? 😉

Aw, I love this. Animals are so important! I refuse to trust anyone who doesn't like animals.

Best post ever! 🙂 I'm a firm believer that the reason I am not "allergic" to pets is just due to growing up with them from the moment I was born!

I so agree! I have always believed that animals were a healthy part of life – just so theraputic and refreshing to come home to. They bring so much happiness! My family has had pets since as long as I can remember. These are great photos of your cuties!

I totally agree! I can't imagine life without a fuzzball or two. I am always a little wary of people who don't like animals, and was so grateful and happy to find that my husband and fuzzball get along like a house on fire 🙂
