happy due date & 1 week birthday to our tiniest little rosebud!
it was one week ago today that our sweet maddalena was born. she was exactly a week early, and it’s so crazy to think that she wasn’t even due until today! but we are so glad she decided to surprise us with her precious face. and what an amazing week this has been. amazing and full of new challenges and adjustments and so many emotions [and oh, those hormones, you know]. she is exactly how i pictured her… and the sweetest little thing imaginable. and when steven and i watched a movie last night with our fluffies and our wine and our newborn all on the couch together, it was just right. just what i always wanted.
…and gosh, this seems like so long ago now!
