you know what? i think being happy with your teensy little regular ole every day should be considered successful. like, more successful than making 1 jillion dollars and owning everything in the neiman marcus christmas catalogue… because if you look around, a whole lot of people, jillionaires or not, just really aren’t happy. so me, i’ll take those happy littles, please. please and thank you muchly.
a not-so-happy little, though, is that husband dearest went off on an adventure in duck hunting land this past weekend so, 1.) we did not put up our christmas tree like i’d planned, boo, and 2.) he came home sick as a really sick dog… which can really make a girl sad for her tall handsome one! so now i’m all, maddalena, meet lysol. lysol, meet maddalena. but hey. my birthday’s tomorrow. so there’s always that. well, seeya!

And, we found out we're having a girl! So, now I can play dress up with my girl like you do with Maddalena 🙂
