christmas happened! woohoo! i mean, the thing is… i guess being really exhausted is just part of being a mom, and you maybe just don’t realize it until you start to absolutely lose your mind… and about the time christmas rolled around… i was definitely starting to lose my mind. but that’s okay! because christmas 2012 was a success! as we’ve done in the past, we went to the christmas eve service at our church, and then stayed at the farm for the night and got cozy in our christmas pajamas with my family. we set out milk and cookies for santa and his reindeer [duh]… and guess who got her first visit from ole santy claus? miss maddalena sure did! yaaaay! she was pretty cute with it all. it’s kind of strange not being the kids at christmas anymore, but it was sure fun to be santa claus for the first time. then, we went over and had christmas with the in-laws, and it was a holiday success. ho ho ho. merry christmas!
