this last weekend, a christmas miracle happened… and i was able to get a couple of gifts under our tree a whole entire week before christmas! woooowee!
this usually does not happen for me until the very last minute, but this year i’ve been busy busy with my very helpful little elf and several contributions from starbucks [some caffeinated, some calming, i require a delicate balance]. of course, the downside of having actual gifts under the tree for any duration of time, would be the fact that sophie literally attacks them every day. but hey. it’s her christmas, too, right? and gosh, do i love the little circus we’ve got going in this house.
and ps. what!! christmas is happening so soon!
we woke up this morning and just ONE little present (of a good amount) was separate from the rest, in the middle of the living room, with some of the ribbon chewed on. Real smooth, cats. Real smooth. 😉 I like what you said, though. It's their Christmas too!!
