last thursday was so beautiful! it was sunshiney and relatively warm. we paid a visit to our casey boy to give him a good brushing, and maddalena squeaked out a little hello to her ole pal, dusty!
since then… um, mostly rain and gray skies.
now, supposedly, our estranged friend, mr. springtime, is on his way to us this weekend!! could it be true? temps in the 70s? finally? please, please be true! we have apparently been having one of the coldest springtimes in years and years, and let me just say, i. need. sunshine! and warmth.
[seriously. i’m getting to that point where no meal tastes good enough and annoying people are annoying x’s infinity.]
so! it’s friday! and the sun is out! and i have high hopes for our weekend!! let’s get serious, people! and by serious, i mean happy and warm. yaaaay yay!
ps. thank goodness for baby wearing! we have the best time together like that. i totally have a new appreciation for kangaroos. and okay, how many people can say they nursed while taking their horse out to pasture? well, i can. i’m not gonna say it was graceful, but girlfriend was hungry.
Your horses are beautiful! Your daughter must be thrilled to be around such beautiful animals. 🙂
