if you were to talk to me right now, i would prooobably mention the 1.9 millionfinity things on my to do list… which i am majorly tackling, by the way! however, when it’s as beautiful outside as it has been this week, i have a hard time saying no to snagging 30 minutes in the back yard sunshine when… or… if maddalena takes a little nap. [because that girl, she just goes until she can’t go no mo!] and i know that nap time is like, universal sacred holy get-it-done time for moms, but i have found that i’m a much happier get-it-doner if i allow myself some sunshine in the mix. plus, i gotta build up my base tan again, know what i mean? priorities! anyway, yesterday was oh so pretty, so i took 20 or 30 to make myself a little iced coffee and enjoy the springtime before it gets super hot!
[still sleeping! and ooh, don’t worry, that’s just a ginormous case on my iphone. i gave in. consider me protected. for now!]
[i planted these little pinkies last week. maybe they’ll live?! i have such bad luck with things i plant in the ground!]
also, if you ever see our grass, be sure to tell steven how great it looks! it does look great, but he loves his grass, so even if it’s dead, please tell him that! men and their grass, you know? and while you’re at it, feel free to compliment me on my rosebushes that i think might have a disease. okay, super 😉

The sunshine in the backyard looks amazing- not too mention the huge delicious iced coffee. I have an otter box on my iphone- it's huge but it does the job!
