maybe you didn’t know this about me, but i am kiiind of a grilled cheese eater extraordinaire! i am. like, i can’t get enough, because bread and cheese are basically my food besties. and for way, way too long now i have been stalking the grilled cheeserie food truck on twitter, fully intending to one day hit them up for one of their grilled cheese masterpieces… but it really hadn’t happened yet. it just hadn’t, and i was starting to get sad about it. until saturday! when i saw on the twits that the food truck of my dreams was going to be super near our neck of suburbia for a fair at one of the parks! so, as i mentioned this tidbit to steven, i begged him with my eyeballs, and then… off we went! to fulfill my grilled cheese dreams. and i have to say… my cheddar blend on sourdough did not disappoint! and by that i mean, it was de. LICIOUS. i want another one asap right now.
and for maddalena… there were poooniiiies! she held her own my little pony and looked on at big kids on the pony rides. she loves horses, yay! we also saw a couple of chickens. she wasn’t quite as thrilled with those.
and for steven… for steven, i snagged a real fancy chip clip from the publix booth we passed. hey hey! everybody wins! haha. just kidding. because clearly my biggest grilled cheese fantasy coming true is at least a fafillion times better than a chip clip, but steven does eat a lot of chips, like veggie chips and corn chips. and well, he did mention later that it was a “nice chip clip.”
but back to that grilled cheese… well, that needs to happen again soon! thanks, grilled cheeserie! you are the food truck of my dreams. unless there’s a cannoli food truck out there that i need to know about.
Cheesy sourdough bread is delicious! I have been on an odd (for me) sourdough bread kick. Yum yum! 🙂

haha you're too cute. I'm embarrassed to say I've never tried anything from a food truck. They were very popular around here for a while.
ummmmmm amaze. grilled cheeses are one of my favs as well! i love mixing different types of cheese in them yum! but a food truck dedicated to them? oh i wish my small town would get with it!
