5 years of marriage! and i think i finally figured out why he loves me…

as of last friday, we have officially made it through 5 wonderful and crazy years of marriage! woo!


so, after 5 years and still going strong, i figure he must love me for at least some of the following reasons…

1. i am the funniest person he knows. obviously.
2. i can happily eat 6 quesadillas in a 24 hour period… and then two more. late at night. [yes, babe. two more. i did.]
3. my dance moves are ah-maze. if you like, you know, jungle style dancing.
4. i am “not high maintenance.” [fact! he literally said that recently. out loud!]
5. i have a long giraffe neck, which, as it turns out, is necessary when trying to smooch someone who is 6’4.
6. my first car was a golf cart, and boy did i look hot in that thing! [we started officially dating in the golf cart. you see, he simply could not resist.]
7. a shared love of wine and soft t-shirts, and maybe a mutual attraction to kevin costner.
8. my slowly-evolving taste for child-friendly cuisine makes me a pretty cheap date.
9. all those long drives to and from college… disney song and moulin rouge soundtrack performances… need i say more?
10. really. i think he’s pretty amazing.
