so, i realize that 1.) pool floats make for the most awkward photo angles, 2.) my baby is clothesless, and 3.) that is the only swimsuit i appear to own [it’s not, but it’s the one i always wear at the farm! also, none of my others fit anymore. none fit? none fits? grammar whatev. also, i bought some new ones.] but see, i love these photos too much to care about what is flattering and appropriate right now. i really do. i just love my people. i love floating with my people. i love that minnie is a people. she is me in dog form. i seriously do not know how that happened. i love that my husband is like, really hot, and i felt like all of my dreams were coming true when we had an official family float moment over the weekend. and maddalena in those sunglasses? her *princess* sunglasses, mind you! she didn’t want to wear them until toto’s “africa” came on my iphone playlist appropriately titled “awesome.” then, i don’t know, something in her knew that they would look really good on while she danced. i tell you what, that girl is intuitive. and growing so fast. have i mentioned she’s growing up really fast? ahhhhh! this is a love ramble, but you know, it’s a monday. and july! happy july!
ps. my parents had their 28th anniversary this past weekend, and i am just so thankful for them! and their love. and their examples of love. with 5 marital years under our belts over here, i feel quite impressed and inspired by a number like 28. anyway. love. that is all!
