all summer long, steven and i talked about going over to cheekwood to see the light installation by bruce munro… and so!! when we realized that last sunday was the very last night it would be open, we finally got our tickets and went! and i’m so glad we did… not only so that we can successfully check it off our list of talked-abouts [woo! because, you know, some ideas just go there to die ;)], but all the lights were really so beautiful to stroll through!

cheekwood is really, really a gorgeous place, and i totally regret now not going at some point this summer to enjoy the gardens there! and i can only imagine how incredibly magical this whole setup probably was in the warm summer air… but i realized as we walked through that this was the. perfect. christmas light prep! and i’m totally ready for this world to get their lights going… helps relieve that seasonal affective disorder that’s already setting in!
