hey friday! what’s new!
i think i’m going to run for president of the in love with my wellies club, okay? will you vote for me, please? these here boots of mine have sure gotten some wear this winter. they’re filthy dirty in the most glorious way from tromping around in the mush and gush of the horse pastures. a sign of good livin’ if you ask me! and apparently, it’s supposed to snow tonight! woooo, more big booty action. omg. i am so inappropriate! stop. somebody stop me. all this to say that even though i first had a smidge of guilt about my hunter wellies purchase back before our italy trip, i continue to be thrilled with how worth every penny they’ve been.
anyway, i’ve gotten to the point of winter where it pretty much does not matter what i wear beneath my jacket and my boots. right? or is this just me? and about 99% of my outfits these days could be titled 50 shades of gray and black. i have zeeeero intention of ever reading that book, by the way, just representing it’s color scheme on the daily.
so, happy weekending to all of my friendsicles! i’m going to be drinking my weight in coffee, as usual, and doing more wellie walkin’ probably! i feel like it has snowed everywhere but nashville, so if we see a dot of white this weekend, i won’t be complaining!
ps. i believe i have officially fulfilled my quota of puns for one friday, so ttfn, bootylovas. gosh, what is my deal today? probably just this second cup of coffee. maybe i’ll work on my maturity level over the weekend. 😉
Abigail got a pair of Hunter's for her 3rd birthday. I pretty much live in a state of jealousy over her every single day now.

i feel ya, girly! the *only* reason i finally gave in and paid full price for them was because i had so actually [so stupidly!] passed them up on sale twice before! so by the time i bought them, it was last minute, and i really actually needed them. so i just went ahead and ordered and figured it was my fault for not taking up the sale prices before! so anyway, you should totally watch for them to go on sale on GILT or maybe you can find some on ebay!
We are boot twins! Living in Seattle I figured that a good pair of rainboots would be a good investment! I would also love a green pair to go with the navy!
oooh, i'm sure they're perfect so for seattle!! and i love that you can walk all over the place in them and be completely comfortable. i love the green, too, and the navy! i always thought i would get the aubergine, and then i ended up with the black!
I am hooked on my hunters as well. I pretty much wear them every day! Best purchase ever. Mine don't have lovely stories behind their dirt – just lots of snow trekking. Hope you get to see some snow!!! And I'm a fan of your silliness in this post!! Happy weekend!!!

I keep eyeing a pair of Hunters. After this post I might as well quit drooling over them and just make the purchase! lol.
I so wish I had some hunter wellies! I was *this* close to getting a pair when I lived in Seattle but I just couldn't spend all that money and instead got a cheaper pair but man oh man, I wish I had gone with some hunters!
