baby farmhand

for a couple of weeks now, maddalena has been been “leading” me around the house [or wherever she wants me to go, really] by clucking and tugging at my pants or shirt and guiding me in whichever direction… just as she has seen me do with casey. i have gotten a real darn good giggle out of it, thinking of her sweet little mind picking up on all these things and thinking “ahh, so that’s how it works!” so anyway. last week, she decided to use her skills on the actual horse, and oh my goodness, i just could not believe it when casey obeyed her, and there was my 19 month old leading my 27 year old horse. good thing i prepped my little iphone video button for such a moment! i can’t wait to show her this when she’s all grow-ed up! [you have to listen really hard to barely hear her little clucking sound, but it’s my fav!]

…i didn’t quite catch it, but right afterward she jumped around all excitedly, because she was just so proud of herself! but not as proud as i was! go maddo girl! best little farmhand ever.
