so march is almost over, and we’re doing all this springtimey sunshine stuff, right? everyone’s getting all excited! we’re envisioning bare feet and picnics and cheap mexican food on the reg… and then we wake up one morning crossing our fingers for maybe one of these things on a warming spring day, and… whaaat?! i mean, what the heck? …iiiiis precisely what i wondered when i saw a little spring blizzard occurring right outside my doors just a few days ago!

now, time out, spring snow? i’m pretty sure that isn’t supposed to be a thing around here! but hey, i s’pose i’ll take it over our usual tornado warnings that keep me hiding out in the bathtub at all sorts of odd hours. plus, maddo thought it was pretty neat and who can argue with that! she held her little hand out to catch snowflakes, and even ventured out into it for a cold second for a quick lesson in wet feets. 🙂
but okay, okay, reeeeal cute, mother nature, real cute indeed. that was a pretty good gag you pulled there, i’ll admit it! but now, can we please wash our hands of all this nonsense, ma’am, and officially move onto real life? waaarm life. hot life! warm hot life is real life and that is that. that is my final word on the matter. the end, amen.

It's because it is so important that weather. How I envy you southern states. Minus the tornadoe warnings. Because. Yuck.
the tornadoes are the worst! although there's always this huge threat that the tv people make a huge deal of and then we're fine every time. so it's pretty much just storms and dramatic weather reportings, but enough to freak me out!!
Haha you and me both, sister. Weather talk, all day errday. But seriously. Spring can come already, and STAY this time!! It's raining here and I'm over it. I need that sunshine!
