life of charmings

love, family, happiness

May 1, 2014 in beach· family· travels· vero beach

three mermaids washed out of the sea yesterday

my favorite thing about the ocean here is that it’s peaceful but so passionate.

it’s not that sea that you toss your floats into and hang out in with a drink in your hand. there seems so much more to it than that. it has waves that surfer kids surf in and fishermen fish in, waves that try to steal your flip flops, that jump up and crash down and make you wonder just what life is like under there… but still it has enough calm to dip your feet or frolic out and splash around in… and still you can look out and feel your heart rate slow as the tide pulls all your worries away. ahh. i love it.

since we’re scheduled to fly back home later on today, i have considered more than once maybe just diving in and becoming a mermaid! plus, my saltwater hair is so much better than just my regular air hair. i mean, really.

treasure coast, tomorrow’s coffee just will not be the same without you.

ps. i am definitely taking home a ridiculous amount of seashells… to add to my collection of last year’s ridiculous amount of seashells. πŸ˜‰

Oh I wish I could just take that gorgeous water color home with me. You've got to be completely and utterly relaxed! I know I was just after reading this post.

I love my hair post ocean dip! You can try all the sea salt sprays in the world but there's nothing like the real deal. Also! Your bathing suit is adorable, mind sharing where you picked it up? πŸ™‚ thank you!
