yesterday, my number one little gal and i started off an afternoon of errands with a trip to the big and mostly manly world of home depot for some paint… and as we were heading to the checkout, we stopped by a rack of succulents [because who can resist!!], and would you just leave it to my dainty lady to pick up the tiniest and sweetest little flowering variety, which she fell absolutely in love with because, “it’s soooo cuuuute! it’s soooo cuuuuute, mommy!!”
so naturally! we grabbed ourselves some of the prettiest flowering succulents and had our first little mama + baby planting project. make. my. heart. swell! maddalena did a great job [she was officially the rock topping expert!], and now these sweet things are making us so happy around here on this rainy day. i am soooo ready for springtime and flower planting, but i think this will hold me pretty well for now!
and oh, i am so thankful for my girl for loving flowers with me. 😉 like mama, like baby, right!
