i know a little lady whose day. was. made. earlier this week when she got to sit on a pretty polo pony for the first time!
one of my fav-o-rite barn happenings is going on this month, with some polo players in town for matches, which means there are some really beautiful horses and fun company around the farm for a few weeks! crossing my fingers that we’ll go to a match soon! 🙂
so, as all the polo horses got their afternoon workouts that day, maddalena was naturally inspired to pull up her own handsome steed… a request i will literally never turn down. we basically have to be 4,030 miles away at 1am for me to not jump on it when the girl wants to be with casey… you know how it goes for me! my 28 year old horse and my little almost 3-year-old lady with big horsey hearts in her eyes… constant meltage. so much love. i can’t even handle.
oh, maddalena girl. thank you for being my kindred spirit!
and ps. really hoping the size of that baby bump under no-longer-quite-as-flowy top indicates that i’ll be much smaller and more able to get back on a horse SOON! although, pshh, like i’ll be doing aaanything but snuggling once the little mr. bunbun is ready. 🙂

Aww! These are such sweet pics! Kaitlyn is OBSESSED with horses and ponies! How she would looove to be in M in these pics. 🙂 Maddalena sits so well on the horse without a saddle!
