on tuesday afternoon, rocco had his first vaccinations… that’s a day i absolutely dread for those poor little baby bodies! i mean, i’m grateful for vaccines, but two months is tooooo young, if you ask me. and anyway, i’d say it did a number on all of us! so, the entire evening went a little something like this: rocco wakes up, maddalena falls asleep [in her chicken nuggets]. rocco falls back to sleep, maddalena wakes up. maddalena goes back to sleep, rocco wakes up… ooh, my babies! it’s good thing i live for their snuggles.
it's so tough when they sleep opposite each other! it thank goodness for their snuggles is right!
That is so precious. She is just so adorable, and even though when she is awake she looks so grown up, passed out at the table, you can still see some baby left in her. Too cute!
She must have been worn out to fall asleep in that position! I always hate the shots. They just don't know what's happening and that it's really for their own good. Their poor little faces in pain is too much for me.

awwwww!!!! that is so precious and so funny. and I know exactly how you feel about the one up then down then the other up – it's like they take shifts 😉 but the cuddles are the best.
Two month shots were so rough! We nursed and slept all day long and poor thing ran a low grade fever. So so sad.
And she is so adorable. I can't get over it.
