iiii am basically obsessed with my siblings. really, i think they’re so amazing. if you can’t tell, i’m the firstborn of three! girl – boy – girl… and i really just could seriously not live without either of them. we fought horribly as kids, of course [well, stephen and i did… we’re too similar in our passionate arguing skills to ever back down! just ask my crooked ring finger ;)], but now that we’re all just bigger kids in our 20s, i kind of depend on the fact that there are two other humans out there that know me inside and out, can basically read my mind, and have no choice but to love me. no choice, guys! let me remind you! and anyway, knowing that maddalena and rocco have each other [and hopefully another in a few years? i’ve always hoped for at least 3…] makes me the happiest ever [aaand sometimes the scaredest, ha!], and seeing them running around with my own baby sibs as these little mini versions of us is such fun. not to mention, my daddy’s little sister has been in town and they look alike and have a fun, hilarious dynamic, themselves… reminding me that siblings are the best. still not sure how my grandmother managed 6 of them, but we’ll do what we can, kids! 😉 haha. i hear maddalena now going in to check on her baby brother up from his nap… heart eyes!! aaand we’re off to the pumpkin patch!
You know what I think is the best?! Seeing expressions or mannerisms from my siblings (or Matt's) come out in the kids. It makes my heart soar. I even get to see my one sided dimple in my niece and it makes my day! Aunts and uncles and babies. YES.
