2. music playing on the record player just never, ever gets old to me! probably because i didn’t grow up with them, right? but isn’t it the best that our generation at least wants to keep that sort of thing around! anyway, i love love my cute little crosley… and i had my fav ever accidental thrifting find not too long ago when i came across an old best of glenn miller record in great condition! gosh, it. is. wonderful!! moonlight serenade, oh, it gets me every time.
3. first of all, each time i use this jack daniel’s shot glass as a vase or tiny kid’s cup i wonder how we acquired it?? haha. you know, considering this isn’t a fraternity house. [it is tennessee, though!] 😉 i’m sure my husband could tell me, but i always forget to ask/care. anyway, it made such a perfect little vase when my mini roses [which are mysteriously turning into regular roses!] gave me a beauuutiful winter blossom just when i needed it!!
4. my cuddly little bunny lady with her baby lucy! she names her babies after her friends. i just love her heart. so, i’m ob. ob. ob. sessedddd. with the fur trimmed throw my mom found me for christmas. it was from tj maxx, i think. not sure i’ll be able to put it away come summer! probably not. nope.
5. my valentine’s flowers hung in there for a good, solid week! a pop of floral pink just never fails to make me happy.
6. okay, so have you seen the twistable crayons they have out these days?! such a game changer!! also, the lovely lyna from cammi & co sent along the sweetest hair pretties for my tiniest accessorizer… they are just the most darling little things! plus, i extra love supporting mamas who are both staying home to raise their babies, but working also to support their family financially, too! 🙂
7. maddalena and i made a cannoli poke cake for my mommy’s birthday, and i kiiiinda loved how it turned out!! it also could not have been easier, which was a super duper plus for me on a gray day with two fussy chillens.
8. spring!! spring, are you coming?! this pretty tree is blooming in the front yard, and i’ve recently figured out that it’s a star magnolia! the blossoms are so gorgeous! although, i told steven what it was, and he said, “well great, then there’s your magnolia!” and that was depressing, because no. that’s not a magnolia. that’s a star magnolia. nooot the same. so pretty though!!
9. i turned to find mr. rocco just as happy as a lark underneath the coffee table the other day! he’s not officially crawling yet, but i find him making his way all over the place, somehow, anyway! and oh, i love that little boy so so ridiculously much.
10. …and there’s sister, naturally always ready for a photo op! as temperamental as age 3 can be, man she is the best thing. and he. is. CRAZY about her!
11. i fell in love with the idea of old fashiony book page artwork just recently, and subsequently had a few little projects going over here for a spell! pulled out one of my very favorite quotes for the sunroom!
12. my gold addiction is now being accented by a marble infatuation! gold planner + marble iphone skin + iphone cover + macbook case

I learned from this mine is a star magnolia as well! I kept wondering why it looked different than the ones I'm used to seeing!! Loving all the flowers in this post, so nice and springy! That cake looks so yummy! Twistable crayons?! Whaaa?
the usual magnolias are evergreens, so i was surprised that this tree that was dead looking all winter was anything you could call a magnolia! ha! so gorgeous now, though!
How is Rocco SO BIG!? isn't he supposed to be a newborn still???
