…baby girl’s style is killin’ it these days! i really do love asking her opinion on things when we shop or decorate or get dressed. also, to be honest, i recently went back to a photo of her in our old house where she had my shoes on, which she aaalways used to do… and i thought, oh no! she never puts on my shoes in this house. have i ruined all her fun?!? and i was really sad about it. thankfully, she discovered that my booties are nicely accessible and came strolling out of my closet wearing them, all ready for her friday night! yay! 🙂
…speaking of style, i never thought i would have a reason to, but i got one of those little nursing necklaces that you can wear for your babes to fiddle with, you know? rocco bear loooves to grab at things with his little paws while he nurses and i know one day he’ll accidentally break my favorite bar necklace [that i should take off, but i just can’t!] if i’m not careful! anyway, i think it’s super cute and a fun “pop of color” since i’m always donning my neutrals! oh, and rocco likes it! which is all that really matters, huh. also, he’s 8 months old now!! aaalso, he can crawl!!
…when our ‘nanners start turning, do we make banana cookies oooor banana cookies?! ha! [we went with the second this time, but the first are my fav.]
…we’ve finally gotten settled enough around here to not feel like a crazy mess when we have company over! yaaaay yay! we are sooo thankful to be at the tail end of winter and major house projects… for now! 🙂 maddalena was so excited to have some little playmates on their way saturday. “are they here yet?” “are they here yet?” “WHEN ARE THEY GONNA GET HERE?”
…and let it be noted that i got on a darn good bed making roll this weekend and it felt amazing. yes. amazing! hey, beds! i’m back in action! i’m comin’ for ya, BEDS! ps. i had these chocolates sitting on one of my pinterest boards for years before i ran across them in tj maxx a few weeks ago! LOVE when that kind of thing happens! i soooo love them just for the pretty boxes, but eating all the chocolate inside didn’t hurt either. 😉
…yesterday, the sunshine came out all bright and shiny, and steven and i went on a little day date! my only request was coffee… and ta-daaa! coffee dates are my jam! and that’s one thing about me that hasn’t changed in 15 years. fif. teen. years!
oh, and hey! one additional note! i finally made a life of charmings facebook page for any friends who use facebook a bunch to keep up with life! i don’t use it very well, you know, ever since college… ha! but i realize that some people are better at it than i am, so there it is! maybe just maaaybe it’ll come in handy!!
