[quirky trip sidenotes! rocco bonked his head at the airport before we even left. maddalena donned chipped nail polish all week liiiike a champ because i thought we had polish remover down there, but apparently we ran out. i must’ve used it all? also, i’ve managed to narrow my swimsuit collection down to one wearable swimsuit… the one i keep there in florida. haha. i tried wearing another one i brought but steven pointed out that the bottoms were extremely saggy, and we had a nice el-oh-el moment. kind of. and! steven had poison ivy the whole trip! he picked it up golfing a few days before we left! what! oh, life. you ole kook. making kooks out of all of us. still!! vacay success! totally!]

thank you, my lovely, you are too sweet!!!! i felt like i had a second chance to capture some this year because i didn't at all when we went down in the spring. i'm often too overwhelmed to tackle it, but they're only tiny once! and i'm only in my twenties for another 1.5 months. 😉 and yes!! it's pretty quiet there, and we love that… and in september!! paradise!!
