obsessed: are you serious with these mugs right now because i cannot eeeven handle!

iiii mean, really!! you. should. have. SEEN. me! little ole me, pushing around that big semi-truck of a shopping cart, the one with the extra kids seats that is faaar too big for the tiny spaces you must force it through… stopped there in the aisles of target just gazing away at these glorious mugs, each displaying the daily words and feelings of my heart, the simple longings of my soul each and every morning, in beautiful writing and shades of gold and white and perfect pink!!!!

i love morning coffee. in fact, from ages 2-3, my baby girl got me out of bed every morning saying, “it’s time to get up and make cossee!!!” that girl, she just gets it. 😉 i look forward to it at night as i go to sleep, i could definitely use the boost to wake up first thing, but i also truly cherish the feeling of coming together with others around a kitchen table, or snug on a sofa, sleepy-eyed and bed-headed, still in jammies, a whole, fresh day just beginning! i love that feeling. a morning coffee ritual brings people together first thing, and it’s my favorite part of any sleepover, anywhere. [until wine o’clock comes around, that is!!!]

but you know, this little mug encounter was also kiiiind of ironic for me! because my mother and i were each going through our cabinets just prior to my target run, ridding our kitchens of the least used items, many of them being… coffee mugs. haha. oh, i need another mug like a hole in the head… but! at the same time, i’m really going for that method of keeping and using only the things that you truly love, the things that make you happy when you see them. so, in essence… i DO need more coffee mugs! i kind of just do. so, i can’t help myself here… the obsession must continue!

but first coffee – amen!!!! amen amen amen. the beginning of each and every day. and i love this shade of green, it reminds me of my sis and everything i’m ever tempted to buy for her. ha!!!

hello gorgeous – okay, so i loved a similar design at another store so much that i recently gave a hello gorgeous mug to one of my girlfriends for her birthday! and then unknowingly, my mother did, too! SO, i see this one, and it’s like OH, someone out there said “okay, make the mug pink and the writing gold and BRITTANY WILL LOVE IT.” ahhhh, hearts and swoonage!!

mama needs some coffee – i mean, i literally say this every single morning of my life!!! it’s like… totally validating. therapy in a mug!!

gold heart doodle – so, my fondness for gold on mugs always comes with the downside of no microwaving [health-wise, however, that’s a plus!] and hand-washing… but gold! how could i ever deny gold?! i couldn’t. and since heart doodles covered my school notes for years and years and continue to mark any list i make with a pen and paper… this one gets me. oh, it really gets me!

fresh -and- delicious – i just really love the design on this one!!!! and it’s a good boy option. 🙂

pink and white snuggle – this is a set of 4, and really sooo adorable, right? like, if i were at a friend’s house and they had this one sitting in their cabinet among all its little muggy friends, this is the one i’d grab to have my coffee in! because of course we’re having coffee, duh.

you, me, and coffee – oh. my gosh. i’m in love. mostly because it’s pink and i love the design, plus those johnny and june undertones… capture my soul, you pretty cuppy, you!!! honestly, i had this one in my cart while we were shopping. i did. then i put it down because i felt guilty, and was also considering an i <3 coffee super soft sweatshirt. but i put the shirt down and went back for the mug. then i put them both down because i don’t usually buy myself things unless i need them [clothes, mostly… and really, one could actually argue that i need an i <3 coffee sweatshirt!] but! still love!

caffeine – i mean, it’s like… it just sums it all up. right there. in gorgeous gold writing. that’s it. that’s it!!

gold dots – now, this is actually a set of 2, but oh my my myyyyyy am i having a love affair with gold dots these days!!! as i sit here in my gold dot nightgown after a christmas of gold dot wrapping paper and several seasons of a gold dot travel mug. i have never been a dot person, but then one day i just fell. in. love!

caffeine is the new black – OH so clever. i love caffeine and i love black and i love my caffeine black.

you had me at coffee – oh, coffee… one of the most romantic words ever! haha. 😉 i am not a red person, but if this was pink it would be in my cupboard immediately.

motivation -in a- mug – pretty much!!! and oooh, always with the gold writing.

gold flecks on pink – this comes as a set of 4, but i think it’s precious!!! these would be so perfect for glamping, yes?!

warm & cozy – two of my all-time favorite feelings in life!!! and i love the look of the writing on it.

kiss me i’m caffeinated – !!!!!!!!! okay, for me, personally, if i haaad to choose… it’s between this one and you, me, and coffee. but then, i also love hello gorgeous. and heart doodle. so… hey babe, i’ve probably got my valentines covered! <3
