…he keeps me laughing all day, every day! i LOVE having a boy. and i definitely love having a boy who feels comfortable romping through the yard in his sister’s crown. haha.
…teensy addition to the sunroom decor! my little boxwood wreath atop a big wall pedestal that was my grandmother’s. it was such a bright [beautiful!!] gold, even i couldn’t handle the gold-ness of it, so, naturally… i did my white magic. 🙂
…very first bedhead after his hair cut!!! delicious, if i do say so. and to my relief, the curls have stayed! his hair is still crazy! hallelujah, amen.
…our second set of adorable siblings are getting cuter and more mischievous by the day. he has charm and big blue eyes, she’s sassy and curious and loves to play with and take care of her brother. sounds familiar, doesn’t it!?
our sweet neighbor passes flowers through the gate to maddalena. it makes us sooo happy!! she is seriously the sweetest person ever. maddalena gave her a painting not too long ago [i think it might actually be the one in the photo!] and she hung it up on her wall! which reminds me, she had us to lunch last week and i have got to write her a thank you note, because she’s already written us like, a handful of them. literally the nicest!

big things today for us… ummm, hm let’s see. a bird just tried to fly in our [closed] window. the locksmith is here to spruce up our doorknob life. [great italian guy! if you need your knobs or locks done around here, i’ll happily pass his info!] the kittens have been permitted by moi to explore our bedroom for the day. we’ve lined up happy hour with favorite faces this afternoon. i’ve got swimsuits on order for our spring jaunt to paradise. aaaand… hey! it’s friday!!
ps. i saw these parenting memes shared yesterday, and i keep reading through them, laughing! i feel like so many of them! the list of people i trust to babysit. haha. you’re surrounded by toys, are you not entertained? the one of ET! and anything re: sleep or bathroom life. YES. if there’s one thing this modern era’s got going for it, it’s validation via meme, am i right?!!

ok first LOVING the matching headbands! Twinning with daughters is theee best! Can you put raw baby carrots in there?!! Those memes! I saw them when you tweeted them yesterday and it was soooo hard to keep my giggles to a minimum in my cube at work! They are spot. on. ! thanks girl!! and yes, we love the vitamix!!! we are using it like crazy. i use raw baby carrots, yes. you put things in order from liquid to solid so i would put baby carrots in as some of the last stuff!
