…a perfect day in the sun with my loves last week!!
i also cannot even handle maddalena in that sweet little cotton coverup. her white number and my french linen top were both sent to us from my fav, garnet hill! i know i always say this, but gosh, i love them sooo much when it comes to both style and quality. and i always swoon a little reading about the origins of their materials… fine linen from hand-picked flax in france?! oh! don’t mind if i do!!! i’m extreeeemely interested, these days, in pure and eco-friendly materials, and i love that GH prioritizes that.
so, as we sat on the beach that day, daddy and maddalena built a sandcastle while rocco fell asleep in my arms with my top draped over him. it was a perfect, breathable, cozy little cocoon for him… and such a sweet, memorable moment for me!! he doesn’t typically fall asleep just anywhere, but he was completely content right there, oceanside. 🙂 [and of course that was the one day we didn’t bring out our beach chairs, so i sat there on a towel until my whole upper body was in an awkward cramp! haha!]
okay, and while we’re at it! i’ll just go ahead and say that i totally have my eyes on this little comfy under-number…
OH, and speaking of things that are great and white! apparently the great white shark, katharine, has been hanging off shore in our general location! they are able to track her, as apparently she’s been chipped to ping a satellite… so, is that crazy or is that crazy! i kind of love her now. i followed her on twitter. nbd.
also!!! a few very wise people made sure to let me know about this completely on-point shirt last week, and i MIGHT need it!! haha!!!

I can’t even with Maddalena’s curls!!! I am so envious. Never cut them little lady! Such wonderful moments you have there! The place looks anzing! As always! And I had no idea about sharks and chipped! I wouldn’t want to touch the water I’m such a sissy. One toe in and the shark can get you, no? 😉
her curls are growing out to the bottom of her hair already!!! so it’s really fun to be back in humidity and see them extra curly. 🙂 i know one day i’ll be thankful for the 9 million photos of her curls! and oh, i know, i’m not a huge swim-in-the-ocean person and sharks are definitely out there, but so far so good, right? still have legs, yay!
