casual saturdays + 21 weeks

[playing in our street last saturday afternoon! that’s not our house in the background, though, in case you were wondering! also, the kids and i are forever addicted to these organic lollipops. they make the best bribes. i mean… rewards! i keep a stash in my purse, always. ;)]

i loooove the laidback lifestyle that is SUMMER! especially having “school age” babes… kids get so scheduled out all year long, i feel like. i love letting mine wear what they want [letting all the interesting combinations slide on most days], sleep when they want, and just BE KIDS. i also prefer to be as poolside as possible, myself… but last saturday was a little gray and drizzly, and rocco really *needed* to ride his bike on the street, apparently. so, sunday was our pool day! 🙂

anyway! last week was 21-ish weeks of third bunny! [i have to check my app to know these things, though. third child problems!]

belly situation: still mostly under the radar, just awkwardly so… and quickly crossing into just plain obvious. thank goodness for summer wardrobes is aaaaaall i have to say!

craving/mood: italian cooking and a liiiittle something sweet! see also, major nesting mode but more in the form of purging. get rid of it all! so, basically regular me… but extra strength. [but then majorly stifled by fatigue!]

things i miss: decent quantities of coffee and wine, feeling skinnier, walking up the stairs without feeling like i need an oxygen tank, needing less sleep… although, i’m well aware at this point that this is about as easy as 2018 is going to get! haha!

things i love: the pool, floral prints, pink [don’t worry, i won’t put any pink in the nursery!] and little kicks before they go straight to the ribcage and such. also, online shopping… hallelujah, always.

i love summer and i hope it never ends, amen, aaaamen!
