new baby, cooler weather, & keeping the kiddos entertained!

[a week-old luca, shaggy-haired rocco, and me and maddalena dressed in comfy, pretty fall things in partnership with garnet hill as part of the garnet hill inner circle i’ve been spoiled enough to be a part of for a while now! :)]

[my cashmere coatigan i am living in these days!!! it’s the softest and warmest and such an investment item to have for years and years. and m’s gorgeous velour dress is my fav of hers for the upcoming holidays. in purple because that’s one of her school colors! both items c/o garnet hill… you know i just adore them and their luxurious items.]

so… going into a cooler season with two bigger kids and an itty bitty newborn, i was a little worried about keeping all of my babes entertained and happy. i won’t lie, it’s a major challenge! on one hand, the nicer days are perfect for outdoor romps and playtime [boy do we get cabin fever!] but on the other hand… it’s officially freezing out, and we tend to cruise through the indoor entertainment pretty quickly!

one thing that seems to rarely get old, though, is coloring! they will color and draw their little hearts out, and it makes me so happy… which is why i thought they’d have fun designing some boiled wool slippers in support of garnet hill and their partnership with st. jude this holiday season! it’s a contest, so… check it out and see if your kiddos want to join in, too! 🙂

from november 2 – december 22, children ages 4-12 can design and submit up to three drawings of boiled wool slipper boots for a chance to win a $100 gift card to garnet hill and a pair of slippers in their design! winning styles will be produced and donated to the kids of st. jude.
