three months of luca!!

our squishiest little mister is three months old!

last friday was 13 weeks of luca cuddles, and saturday the 26th marked three official months of pure luca sunshine. he is the brightest little beam of light in our days! and he’s feeling like such a big boy lately… “talking,” trying to sit up or stand in our laps, smiling with his whole entire face, and watching big brother and sissy be full on cray cray. 😉

i’ve been trying so hard to get a solid laugh out of him, but one night recently, i was doing a thing or two in the kitchen, and maddalena was jumping around dancing where luca was sitting in his little rockaroo… and there it was… wouldn’t you know, that smallest bunny let out a single chuckle! for sissy! and oh, she was so proud. the sweetest things, these babes. and when rocco talks to luca in his hiiiighest pitch baby voice, oh it’s too good. we aaaall love it.

anyway!!! the two big kiddos, bless those babes, they’ve been quarantined since the weekend with what appears to be the flu… luca is holding strong so far, but oh my! it’s a whole new challenge trying to keep them cared for in one room and the baby cared for completely elsewhere in the house. my moments of coffee and little luca smiles are totally getting me through!
