…i’m a firm believer that valentine’s day should cost little to nothing. my version of homemade cards for the kiddos this year, i designed and printed from my phone while nursing and waiting for rocco to fall asleep the night before. haha. i mean… this digital age! making so many things just sooo do-able.

rocco helped me whip up some of my easiest ever healthy chocolates!! aaand who doesn’t hang gold feet hearts? it’s only natural!
playing big bed photo booth is totally rocco’s jam. he knows exactly what he wants to do, too. “i want to fall wike dis off your back!” okiedoke, baby boy! and luca just rolls with it all. as long as he’s got his people [and milk], he’s pretty happy. winter is hard, but adorable. gosh, i yove them!

the ooonly boy in the world that can have a carpool line poop-mergency situation that manages to get on my favorite peplum tee [oh, sure, well, i was maaaybe planning to buy more anyway!] and still i find him the most charming delicious thing on. the. planet. 😉 also, heart: broken, because that was his final wearing of the puppy dog kickee jams that i just couldn’t wait to put on him before he was born! he is such a chunkychunk of love, and they are too small! yay boobs, but… i might feel an actual tear potentially forming.
m brought home many a sweet valentine from her classmates to sort through! and then both the bigger bunnies came running in from our yard with spoilings from our sweetest. neighbor. ever. she is literally the most gentle, caring human, and they are so excited every time!
love from my husb, just the way i like it! [the daaays of wine and roses! and you… take it away, frankie…] followed by what he does best… steak dinner for the 5 of us. i did the [zu] ‘cchini, as rocco calls it. “i don’t YIKE ‘CCHINI” he insists, and then moments later asks for more! nailed it.
…and today, rocco asks, “is it still happy hearts day?” and i love him. and i love my people. and i love pink. but not red. hallelujah. the end. ♡
