easter ’19! [aka. luca bunny’s first easter!!]

…’twas the night before easter!! and all through the house, all the creatures were stirring, because that’s how we roll. anyway, the easter bunny waited and waited for three cute little baby bunnies in matching pajamas to close their little eyes. and finally they did! and visions of easter eggs danced in their heads…

…gosh i love them so much! hoppy easter, little buns!

…we skipped easter church this year [napping baby + steven’s healing acl!], but we streamed it on the big tv, while the baby slept and the kiddos watched some old school donut man. 🙂

…HAPPY FIRST EASTER, BABY LUCA!!!! he is my dream bunny, and i will squish him every day, forever.

…all i can say is… if i was recovering from acl surgery or like… anything… i would not look as cool as steven does. i would look like a straight up lunatic because that’s what i look like anyway. eye roll. stop it.

…obsessed with them. heart heart heart! [might i add, it wasn’t long after this moment that rocco ended up stark naked, running across the yard, carrying a bundle of sticks on his head. they were building a fire for ants, despite the fact that they didn’t have flint. i didn’t even know they knew what flint was!]

aaaaaand there it is!!!! despite the recent craziness of life, we pulled it together for some thankfulness, some chocolate, a lot of coffee, a gloooorious easter meal by mom who outdoes herself constantly… and some much needed sunshine. thank you jesus, amen!
