my babiest boy is 9 months!!!
it may have taken me 3 days to realize it due to july birthdays all around… but i also may have been in a smidge of denial. this age has been such a turning point for all of my babies, and luca is no exception!
suddenly… he’s busy. he’s a busy boy. as laid back as he’s been, he is now eager to catch up to his big siblings, and he has a lot he needs to suddenly accomplish! he’s also been popping through four upper teeth all at one time, which just adds to the adventure. and all of it all just makes me even more delighted to sneak some quiet sleepy snuggle time with him any chance i get. those are some of my favorite moments, and i’m soaking them up.
oh, sweet luca! i’m so proud of him. he’s such a light in all of our days… even the crappiest ones. i mean, this baby. he looks up and smiles when the rest of us get grumpy and frustrated and the day is just… good again. he belly laughs at his siblings. he takes a dog lick to the face like a total champ. he gets pounced on by his big brother. he gets carried around by his big sis. and through it all, he just remains luca. the bestest little thing on this planet.
gosh, we love you, baby luca!!!! or… big lu as we sometimes call him considering those amaaaazing thighs he’s got. 😉
Oh big lu! I love that! It gives me like an old school mob type vibe. Which I mean no life of crime for you baby boy you know what I mean. Baby thighs are the very best!!
