…some notable photos from the last months of winter! cold days, warm days, sick days, sunny days, love days, puppy birthdays, human birthdays! winter is hard, but it sure is cute. and also! hello! WE MADE IT!!!!! sure, we lost an hour springing forward, but i will sacrifice and hour for my life to get those golden evenings back and get one. step. closer. to. summer!!!
until summer, though, i’m trying to get our lives over here in order so we can take off on a muuuuuch needed spring break! naturally, a practical way to jump on top of organization is to flip through my photos. 🙂 but really, we have a plumber here, so my game is a little thrown off. who doesn’t love to tear up the house a bit as you prep for upcoming travel!?
but really, we’re excited to rearrange some house stuff around here. we’ve been doing small things over the winter… upgrading sinks and faucets. turning our most terrifying closet into a happy space. aaand then our water heater started leaking! which has snowballed into some fun new arrangements. projects make me nervous, because i’m scared of what could go wrong, spending extra money, and the potential for something to go unfinished… but! you can’t really move forward with that mindset, so. fun!
i also really want to get back into a better routine with my internet space right here! i don’t love the direction social media has taken for sharing life and photos, and i find myself using it more and more for practical reasons. news… shopping… inspiration… but it doesn’t feel like the safest personal space! and as i learn more about the origins and history of all the platforms, i realize… it’s not. so, that is part of the reason why i’ll never. give. up. on. blogs. blogs are the best! i mean, honestly. it’s always harder for me to keep up through the baby phases, but… this blog is 12 years old. i’m pretty dedicated. so, while quickly uploading to social media on the phone is obviously the easiest, for me it’s become the least fulfilling for personal stuff. blog life forever! end rant. 🙂

Oh so many cute photos of your babies and fur babies! These last few days of winter can just be gone and summer forever and ever. You are so much closer than we are to that weather I am sure! I have been having blog feelings lately but after all that effort and years of documentation you just can’t stop right!?
we are getting closer and closer!! ahh!!! and yes, i have totally waffled on what to stick to. but… i own this space. 🙂 which is much more reliable than all of the other spaces! and one day when i shut all the personal stuff down, i can hopefully turn it into a giant, printed scrapbook, right?!
