we are officially one week out from my littlest bunny turning two years old!!
you know, before he was born, i thought… two year olds are my absolute favorite. just give me another two year old and i’d happily skip the whole baby stage!!
ohhh, and then came luca. my magical little third. the return of my joy. a beam of golden light at the end of my tunnel. even with its challenges, how quickly time goes! and how bittersweet it is to be facing the end of my baby’s babyhood. i wouldn’t have skipped a second of it for the world.
and so! here we are. looking ahead at two. 🙂 i have no doubt that it will, as always, be an entertaining ride with my luca, full of life. he is a powerhouse, this one… forever smiling, singing loudly as he scales walls and chases puppies. he’s wild at heart… would rather be out with the four legged creatures… and i adore him for it. i never want to tame his spirit! just harness it from time to time. 😉

…on that note, he has so many luca-isms that we just adore! in addition to nunny… nina & dot-do [maddalena & rocco], dee-do! [thank you!], and meep [meat] are a few little words often said by the one and only dut-da that i just never ever want to forget!

[pps. i wanted this dress allllllll summer long! i got the knockoff dress, and it’s cute, but still… the sleeves! i swoon. so anyway. when the most brittany dress of all time went on sale, i snagged it… so. it’s pretty much what i plan to wear for all eternity!]
